The Marcha — Marcha de Resistência
A 750km, 15-day long-distance riding competition at the Brazil–Uruguay border, competing alongside local gauchos on pure Criollo horses.
The Marcha de Resistência is one of the world's most demanding equestrian endurance races: 750km divided into 15 daily legs, held in the rugged Pampa landscape near the Brazil–Uruguay border.
Horses are kept in a pre-race concentration on an Estância, fed only grass and water to ensure equal conditions. Each leg ends with a vet check identical to international endurance standards.
Riders compete alongside locals in a true breed selection event for the Criollo horse — a breed shaped by 400 years of natural selection.
The experience includes traditional gaucho culture, barbecues, music, and an interpreter throughout.
All equipment, horse training, transport, and crew are included.
